The guys at Rockit City DJs made my wedding a complete blast. They had us dancing until we shut the place down! They were completely professional, thoughtful about how the reception flow should work, had great music selection, mixed the music well, and had my wedding party boogie-ing their butts off. Even people who told me "Oh, we have to leave soon, I have to do something early tomorrow morning," were spotted a few hours later still shaking it on the dance floor. They also provided some dance party lighting equipment that helped make the dance floor feel like a nightclub. They looked cute, too, which made my single lady friends very happy.

The Rockit City Crew is top notch. We came to them at the last minute when our friend said that he was no longer able to DJ our wedding with the tunes he usually spins out our favorite club here in SF. Eric and Mark stepped up for the save. They organized all the necessary items and equipment, and read our LONG and VARIED list of our favorite music. They even offered to do music in a few rooms that we hadn't even considered having music in! When the day itself came, they kept all our guests dancing until the venue shut us down. They mixed in all our favorites, and even managed to respond to guest requests. If we could throw another party like we did to celebrate this perfect day, I know the only DJs I would consider would be Rockit City DJs

These guys were a class act. We got just what we asked for, and everything the average person wouldn't think to ask for from a DJ. A delicate balance to expect from creative performers. They brought their own flavor but were sensitive to our requests and the general mood of our wedding.

My husband and I got married on 8.8.09 and through the course of all the planning we wanted a DJ to be someone who was fun, professional but yet laid back and trustworthy. these guys did a GREAT job dj'ing my wedding. in fact, i would say the music MADE my wedding. before the wedding, we were given a spread sheet to provide a song list. from there, the djs got an idea of what kind of music we liked and were able to spin music accordingly. they are super professional and got to the venue over 2 hours before the wedding to set up. we also rented a/v equipment from them for our slideshow and to show a video during our first dance. the djs also were able to mix a song for us for our first dance, which was awesome. everyone kept telling me after that the music played was not like a typical wedding and was more like a club, haha. they really got the group dancing, even my parents' friends. i think that is true indication of a great wedding dj. thanks, guys!!

John Colins is HANDS-DOWN MY FAVORITE BAR in the CITY!!! ... *AWESOME MUSIC: Ahhh! Love, love the music here!!!! A mix of Hip Hop, Tops 40s, and Old School Hip Hop, and 90's Remixes. The last time I went on a Friday night, DJ Dan was off the hook. He started the night playing some 90's throwback with MJ and then started going into the Top 40s: "Meet Me Halfway", "Sexy Chick", "Do You Remember", "Bad Romance", "Replay", "Run This Town", etc! He took requests and kept us dancing until closing! ... Can't wait to come back for another dancing rendition!

Rockit City DJs are awesome! They totally took care of us on our wedding day. Their great service actually started from the first time we sat down together to discuss the event. They were very attentive and accommodating and asked some great questions about things we hadn’t considered ourselves. Planning the logistics was easy as they had already worked a wedding at our venue before. The day of, they arrived on time and set up just as they said they would. The provided music and a mic for the outdoor ceremony and, of course, inside the event pavilion for the dinner and reception. Throughout, they MC’d the event, working with the caterer to help direct people throughout the day and night. As for the music itself – well, let’s just say that if you get to a point where you look around and see your eldest cousin doing some borderline obscene moves on the dance floor, and your father wildly kicking his feet around like he’s back at a sock hop, then you know the DJs are jammin!

My best friend put me in charge of music for her wedding and I freaked out because I know absolutely NOTHING when it comes to hiring music for a wedding. I didn't want them to get ripped off or deal with any drama on their big day and I AM SO GLAD I CONTACTED THIS GROUP!!!!!!! No regrets. Both my friend and her husband have completely different music tastes and gave me vague answers whenever I asked a question about the music. I was referred to Rockit City DJs from another friend and they met with the bride and groom and were able to come up with a fun, appropriate, and tasteful playlist for the wedding (which I found to be complete genius given the fact that my friend answered "maybe" to EVERY question). The best part, absolute BEST part is that the music, equipment, sound, MC, and projector for the video and slide show all came in one package, we paid a great price and got our money's worth so I felt good about the whole situation.

LOVE Rockit City DJs! These guys have done 2 events for me so far, and both turned out great, and the music was perfect. Most recently, Rockit City DJs were the DJs for my wedding in May. I was a huge procrastinator, and gave them my must-have song list just a few DAYS before the wedding. They were able to play or mix in all of the songs we wanted. For the open dancing, they really played the perfect songs to get and keep everyone on the dance floor. They were also the emcee for the evening, and did an awesome job at keeping the flow of the night upbeat and lively while also staying on schedule with the program. Finally, they were on time setting up and break down was in the time limits of the venue. They are true professionals and very accommodating. They will work with you and what you like so that your event is how you want it to be. You can really tell they are experienced and they will for sure make it a great party!

No doubt, the best DJ I have heard at a party - and I've heard a lot. They had a great variety of music and had everything we wanted to hear and more. They really know how to scope out the crowd and get a feel for what people want. All of my guests had a blast and said what a great time the party was and I owe it all to the great music! They also took the time prior to the event to make sure they were prepared for what kind of music I wanted, the attire and the overall scene of what the party would be like. Very professional and nice guys. Would hire them again in a heartbeat!

The Rockit City DJs team did a fantastic job at our June 20th wedding! Our initial contact with them was in January 2009, and because of their enthusiasm and down-to-earth professionalism, my fiancée and I felt they would be a good fit. We were right. We met with them a couple of times before the wedding date to go over logistics and song selections, and Rockit City was always accommodating. They even went to the reception hall a couple of weeks before the wedding date to plan how they would set up. They also helped us incorporate a slide show and a special singing performance into our reception. My friends and family were very happy with how the reception turned out and the music that was played. Everyone danced and had a good time. We would recommend Rockit City DJs to anyone.

The guys at Rocket City DJs are fantastic. They were very profesional yet very fun. They were very "in tuned" with the type of music we liked and kept everyone out on the dance floor all night. Ask the 160 people at my wedding if it was the best wedding they've ever been to and they'll all say it was "because the music was great and I got to dance all night." I thought I was picky about my music...until I met my husband. Between the two of us we could probably name every hip hop and R&B song and probably 75% of pop songs pre-1997...because that's when music turned to crap. I knew I could count on these guys to not play a single song that I didn't know all the words to. My four year old nephew, 30-something year old bridesmaid, 40-something year old cousin, 70-year old aunt and uncle...all had a night to remember because of the music these guys played and the energy they brought with them. We had Rockit City DJ's in our Wedding Reception at The Brazilian Room of May 2008! They did a fabulous job and everyone was dancing until the very last song.
